I am just going to say that I am really sore right now. I took for the first time in my life a spinning class at the LA Fitness gym that I joined with my boss last week. I made it through the whole class and I was so proud of myself. I was really scared going this morning and almost didn't go. I don't know why I was scared but I made a few new friends and one said that she is here every sunday morning and she would see me next week. I can't wait to do it again.

I've heard that those spinning classes are exhausting! I haven't signed up for one at my local gym because I've been too scared...

I was so scared too to take it but I am so glad that I took the class, I am going to try and make another class this week. I know one thing that I didn't let it bother me that there were some skinny chicks in front of me, I just keep thinging I am going to be like that soon. :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
It is a stationary bike class, with hip hop music, It really burns alot of calories and I know when I got off the bike I could hardley stand on my legs, but totally worth it!!!!0 -
Great job for getting through the class. My trainer had me do it for 10 minutes, and i was cursing the damn bike by the time i was done. I don't think i could do that for a whole class. I hopeshe doesn't make me do it again anytime soon.

GREAT JOB,
My best friend lost lots of weight spinning. She seemed to love it, but it wasn't for me. Hurt my personal ;0) lol.
Now I love to watch movies and it just so happens the gym I belong to has a movie theatre that has stadium cardio equipment. It is awsome. I can go in and spend 40 to 60 minutes on the treadmill while watching the movie. Unfortunately I travel a lot with my job and am away from home many days.
I believe it is important to find what works for you. I am trying to find something that works for me on the road.

oh yeah I know what you mean mine hurts like**** but i know it will pay off in the long run. I love the club because I can go to any of them around the town and take different classes. I am going to try and do some cardio for a while still i can get the weight down some and try out a personal trainer there to help some of my bad spots, oh wait I have alot of bad spots :sad: Oh well I am still going strong right now. I know that I need a hrm to get the exact calories that I did burn but I know it was alot. Have a great night everyone!!!0

Hrmmmm, I'm thinking about taking one now. I usually hate stationary bikes as I never feel like I burn enough calories or get a great workout... but I may try out a class though as I hear they do kick your butt. We'll see, still working up the courage I suppose. :ohwell:

Thanks, It was a great workout, I am a little sore today but trying to stretch my legs, I can already tell a difference in my legs. I know it has only been one class but it was a total body workout. I think trying the class has set some new goals for me. I am taking a aqua class tomorrow night and ready to get into the water to work some more of these muscles. But totally worth every minute of that class. I need to take it again on Wednesday but I bowl so I won't take it till Saturday. I can't wait:bigsmile: :bigsmile:0
