From Obese to overweight.

Well I'm posting this sucess story because I need the motivation. I went hard for a year and went from obese to overweight. In the last month though I felt like this whole weight loss thing was taking too much time away. From everything my family, friends, and especially God. So I backed up a whole lot. I stopped getting on mfp as much and tried to scale every thing back. Thankfully I didnt gain any weight but I really didnt loose any either.
So now I just need the courage to get back on it. Especially start eating my veggies and get away from the sugar. If anyone would like to be my friend maybe we can motivate each other. I need to loose about 20 lbs to have a healthy BMI.
The first picture is 202 lbs. The second pic is right at overweight 158 a month ago.

Wow! Fantastic job! I can't wait to fall into the overweight zone myself. I have about 40 lbs to go. But I've already lost that plus some since coming here so hopefully it won't take me too long.0

I too have been frustrated with the amount of time losing takes. One reminder I see people post often helps to keep it in perspective, "The weight didn't go on overnight. It's not going to come off overnight."
Keep up the work. You've done great so far.0 -

It does take time. But it adds time, too.
You're adding years to your life. You're going to have extra time for your family, your friends, and your spirituality. Take advantage of it!0 -
Excellent work!! Sometimes, those last few pounds are the hardest to come off. You should be proud that despite scaling back, you haven't gained any weight. I hear you on the diet thing taking away from other things in your life. I manage to carve out 40 mins right after work for a workout before rushing home to my 5 year old-sometimes, I wonder if this should be time I spend with him instead? Maybe you can try just scaling up a little bit more-doesn't have to be as drastic as before but, just enough to get you going again..YOU CAN DO IT!0

Wow!!! Congrats are in order. Keep up the good work and eventually you will be able to manage your time and fit everything you need and want in your schedule.0

You're BEAUTIFUL!! Losing a little more weight (and I mean only a little because your body is actually in pretty nice shape), you would be 100% gorgeous. You're so lucky blessed with such a pretty face! Keep going! It'll all be waaay worth the effort. Especially because you have a nice body shape too so toning up a little would be perfect! I do pilates and it works great. I recommend Winsor Pilates (the one with the circle if you aren't that flexible - I find mat pilates way too hard). You can totally do this too, you've done it before, you can do it again!! Congratulations on your process so far and also maintaining that weight without MFP.
Lots of love x0 -
Check out the spirituality of weight loss. This is something that can bring us closer to God if done in the right spirit. Fasting is an important spiritual discipline, as is temperance, and we practice both when we diet. If we include God in the intentionality of it, there is no reason why dieting has to take us away from the Lord. Email me if you want to exchange some thoughts on this theme.0

You look GREAT. If you need a support buddy, I also have about 20 pounds to go and am pretty active on my MFP page. Add me if you want! I've found that having friends on here (like on Facebook) actually keeps me coming back. I've been doing MAGNIFICENTLY for a month now.0

You look fantastic, and CONGRATULATIONS! You're MY motivation!
You can build a healthy lifestyle into everything you do. Family, fun and faith shouldn't be an excuse. Make it part of your lifestyle. Maybe the rest of what you want to reshape doesn't happen as quickly... but it's a process and unfortunately it doesn't happen quickly.
Just keep a goal. Keep it in plain sight. Keep working towards it. You'll get there and you'll feel good about it too.. at your own pace.0 -
You look fantastic!! keep up the great work!0

Wow, you look terrific!
I've gone from morbidly obese (255.8) to just plain obese (185). I know what you mean about it taking time. But we can do this!0
