I've been using MFP now for 3 weeks now after not doing well with WW and Nutrisystem. I made an appointment with a dietician and agreed to track my food, try daily weigh-ins. Well, I've lost 7 lbs. thus far and that's with a couple of days of eating/drinking way too much. No speed record but for me this is a major victory in consistency. I'm still using the Nutrisystem food in conjunction with "real" food and can't do much exercising due to foot/knee/back issues but maybe this is the final solution.....I sure do hope so as this is the heaviest I've ever been even when pregnant.

Congrats on the 7lbs! New here also but welcome! I personally found that per your dietician's recomendation, that just tracking what you eat and watching portions and nutrients is the best way to lose weight overall and to be able to stick with it. The "real" foot option is so much easier and allows you to be able to enjoy everyday life with family and friends and join them in meals. Just being smart about it.
Wishing you the best of luck in your journey to a healthier life and the enjoyment that comes from it with family and friends.0
