My "wow" moment

My goal was to lose 35 pounds and I made it! But my biggest "wow" moment came when I was carrying a full 2 gallon watering can with each arm. I realized I was carrying roughly an extra 32 pounds and what a lot more effort it took to climb some stairs. It was a great visualization of the relief my joints must feel!

Awesome! Visualizing the weight you lost is a great tactic for perspective

Thats awesome!! I had a similar thing!
I was doing a workout where you had to hold a 35lb dumbell. It was super challenging, but all I could think about is how I was walking around (or doing workouts) when I was heavier.

That is so awesome! I think I read it on one of these boards years ago, but holding a 5lb. bag of potatoes for every 5lbs. you lost. Really gives you an idea of how much extra weight your body was carrying.
