Back again after MS diagnosis

Around 3 years ago lost 80 pounds counting my calories and logging on here. Then I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and gained some weight back. I was using the diagnosis as an excuse to be lazy and eat whatever and however much I wanted. Now I'm ready to get back to it. My goals have changed now though. It's not about the weight loss as much anymore. Now it's about being the healthiest version of me I can be.

Welcome back. I signed up at MyFitnesspal because I have RA and I have a lot of weight to lose. I want to be the healthiest version of myself.

Welcome back. I'm sure you've been overwhelmed with information since your diagnosis, so feel free to ignore me, but I follow Dr. Terry Wahls on social media and she is very inspirational. She was formerly in a wheelchair due to her MS symptoms and has totally changed her prognosis through diet and a variety of other (less traditional) treatments https://terrywahls.com/

Welcome back! Diagnosed in 2006 with MS. I got really depressed and ate whatever, whenever I wanted. That was a very poor choice on my part. I reached my goal weight recently and feel better than ever, just lowered my carbs and started walking & riding my stationary bike. Down from 155-to 111 lbs. You got this! Feel free to friend request me if you like.
  • Welcome back, I'm kind of the opposite, I was diagnosed with MS in 2017 and lost weight by tracking what I ate on here. I gained most of mine back during last year, I'm back almost to my starting weight now (Currently 350, I started at 370+, I had gotten down to 292) Now I'm back to get back on track, sending you a friend request!
