I never planned to become a barefoot runner, it just kinda happened and it’s super fun and working great for me so I continue doing it. Been running this way for almost 8 years, I don’t even own a pair of running shoes5 -

Wow!! Do you always run on sandy areas?
Sandy areas are ok for running but in that pic it’s just a dusty trail in the hills, the ground is hard. I prefer to run on hardpan/compacted earth whenever possible but I can navigate a variety of surfaces including through vegetation, on rocky trails, mud, sidewalks and pavement, a real treat is to run barefoot in the rain! Trail running through the hills is my true passion7 -
