I'm just getting started with MFP to "monitor" my food intake for the long haul. I had gastric bypass surgery April 19, 2019 at 320 lbs and am at goal weight 150 lbs. I've never been healthier. It wasn't the easy way out thats for sure! In fact I believe it took more work and dedication going that route! Now comes the real work....maintaining! This was definitely the right decision for me!

Amazing transformation! Congratulations. I know bypass isn't a miracle as several people I know had it and thought they didn't have to do anything more - and gained everything back. Maintenance is not easy I think because is mundane and not dramatic. Best wishes for your success!1
