I have been on this site for a while. My goal has been to completely change my eating habits to more healthy and realistic ones. Its been an okay journey thus far.. Eating healthier, and smaller portions...anyone have any pointers????

For me, I found it difficult at first. After all, at 55 it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks  But I kept at it and things did get easier -- not EASY but easier. Just put one foot in front of the other, be determined, and don't give up! You'll do fine

Welcome! I have the same mentality. I'm not on a diet, I want to change the way I eat forever. I try to try new things all the time, eat clean, natural foods. If there are things you feel you can't live without at first. Minimize them and slowly weed them out. You won't miss them after awhile. There is soo much delicious food that stems primarily from fruit and veggies and endless options. Whenever I feel like maybe 1 veggie burger isn't enough, I add extra vegetables to it. Or if I feel like my eggs are bland, I throw some salsa on it. I remind myself that unprocessed foods are much better for me, fuel me more and I can eat more of them. Hope this helps. Good luck!

One day at a time, little steps do make it easier to change.

I saw some really huge nubers on my diary when I first started to do it, now it's easier and I feel better for the change. I have a long way to go but that's fine

    Good Luck on your journey

My blips were all when I went to family events, so I'd advise caution then. It's very easy to get carried away when youre socialising
