Eat at least some of them back. 1200 calories is for sedentary people who DO NOT exercise. When you exercise you burn calories - if you go below 1200 NET calories it seems like you should lose weight quicker ....but your body holds on to calories when they are too low. Your body thinks that you are starving it.
Someone on MFP had a great analogy - if you want your car to go - you need to put gas in it. Fuel your workouts.0 -
I don't tend to eat my exercise calories back only because I am rather full without them. I know I should try and eat some of them back, but I'm so close to goal at this point so I'll worry about it when I switch to maintenance,0

You don't have to. You may lose weight faster at first, but you'll find out over time that the negative calories will compound and your body will plateau because it doesn't have enough energy to perform like it should. You may become lethargic, have headaches, feel generally weak and/or under the weather.
Food replenishes, restores, and repairs the pounding it takes internally from exercise. If none of those sound like a reasonable reason to eat your exercise calories back, then welcome the aforementioned symptoms that may come into play one day.

Gee .. I thought the last answer was the best until I saw this one!
That said I think when eating those calories back I wouldn't rush it. You know you can have smaller meals more often ... try again in a couple hours.0
