Hello,
Well I'm a single mother of two basically hoping to get my confidence back. After my son (whos 4) I never really dropped the weight gain of 60 lbs. I'm to a point where I'm just sick of it and feel like it's holding me back. I joine MFP after reading everyones inspirational stories. You all gave me hope that I might also actually be able to accomplish this big feat. When I talk to others they make it seem like it so easy but I'm sure you all will understand my struggle. So thank you in advance for the support.

You can do it! Friend request on the way
I'm a single mom too, and although I lost the baby weight after my daughter 10 years ago, I just let more and more weight creep up on me, and then I would lose a little for a little while and the next time get heavier. Now I am on track to a healthy me for the rest of my life. Good luck! I am no expert on anything, but I have done tons and tons of my own research into exercise and healthy eating/cooking. Let me know if you have any questions or want to message about anything. My diary is open to friends.0 -
Good luck! There's plenty of support here!0

Welcome, Danielle! If you are looking for friends, please add me.
First off, you can DEFINITELY do this!! Like you, I got to a point where I just couldn't take it anymore and decided to make a change. For me, it was about 3 months and 30 pounds ago. You will definitely get more used to it, but it is going to be a struggle to lose 60 pounds (or whatever your goal is). Let's face it, we are all busy and eating well and getting enough excercise is NOT easy! However, it can be done and you WILL reach your goal if you just stick with it!
So....make some friends here on MFP. They will encourage you to keep going when you want to give up! The site itself will help you become accountable to yourself for what you put into your body, as well as the physical activity you exert. Utilize it as much as possible. I am excited for you as you start this journey and hope you find MFP as helpful as I have. Best of luck!!0 -

Welcome! Myfitnesspal def will keep you on track and give you support when you need it. I have found that the hardest thing is to get through the first few changes like getting into an exercise routine or cutting out the bad snacks and replacing them with better choices... Yet we are all human and we will all fall off the health train occasionally... It's about loving yourself and getting back on... Feel free to add me as a friend... We can do it together!!!!0

Yeah it will be difficult but I'm ready. Thanks for the support :-)0
