Does tossing & turning burn calories?

Last night, I could not sleep. So, I pretty much tossed and turned all night. It was exhausting! I finally fell asleep and slept the entire morning away. I know the main cause is that I waited until the last minute to do 30-Day Shred, so I won't do that again tonight. But, I am starving today, even after I've eaten my calorie fill. Is it possible that I have a greater calorie deficit today because of my poor sleep last night?

That is probably part of it because every time your body moves it exerts energy. Just be aware that lack of sleep also leads to increased hunger hormones.0

Unless you were turning every other second all night it would be bugger all. You feel hungry due to lack of sleep.0
