Mozart if I am just in the mood to listen...REO Speedwagon, Journey, and Cyndi Lauper if I want to sing along. Alannis Morissette if I am truly pissed off.

I either enjoy hard music i.e. Sevendust, Mudvayne, old Staind, Bullet for My Valentine.

OR the complete opposite....The Cranberries, Adele, my "cry like a baby and then get over it" mix with Alanis, Madonna, REM, Journey etc.

Old 80's rock...I get lost in that stuff. It works best when I'm alone and can sing my heart out. lol

Mother Mother are a great band to cheer me up. Their songs Hayloft and Tic Toc are just a couple gems.

Depends what is depression me. I lost my mom over twenty years ago. At times when I am depressed about her, I listen to her favorite music. Johnny Mathis, Sammy Davis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Diana Ross. The memories of her happiness when she listened to music she loved helps me remember the great times.
