How do you count your glasses of water? I know the recommendation is based on an 8 oz glass, but does anyone actually drink water that way? I use a 16 oz. glass. So should I log my water to be true to the ounces i am supposed to be drinking per day or to the number of glasses (regardless of size) I am drinking?

    I use a water bottle that's 24 oz. So that's 3- 8oz. cups of water. I drink a number of those bottles a day... that's how I do it.:flowerforyou:

I really don't think it matters so much how you do it but that you get in at least 8+ cups (8 oz. each) per day.
  • I use a 1 liter bottle so that equals 4 cups

For logging purposes 8oz = 1 glass. If you are drinking from a 16oz glass, that would count as 2 glasses. If you are drinking from a 64oz bucket, that would count as 8 glasses.

Just curious as to what difference it makes if you log your water intake or not? Does it show a difference somehow, or is it just for you to keep track of?

This sounds really stupid, but I'm just not sure how to word it :embarassed:!

I love the replies. lol I am going to log actual 8 oz. I already know I drink over a gallon a day, but then it looks like I'm an overachiever.
