Wanted PNW accountability partner

Hello. I'm 56. Need to lose 75 lbs. Like most, I've lost before. Ultimately I am better at losing and sustainability if I track and I talk with someone in my same boat.

I live outside of Seattle and would like someone who lives in the same area. The weather can affect dieting!

I've been on a diet most my life. My metabolism is messed up. There's so much info out there on what to do or not to do I'm in a tailspin.

I lost at WW, but was younger. I lost at Atkins, low carb, keto, and IF. My trainer says I need to eat more. But that's difficult when you're use to skipping meals. I'm trying macro counting, but not sure if I really know what my goal is. Think it's to increase my protein and carbs, but keep my fat intake low. ???

I work with a trainer 2x a week. Been doing this for 7 months. Haven't lost an inch or a lb. I'm stronger and feel better, but still there's so far to go. I'm physical and on my feet for work. Not a couch tater.

Is there someone out there that can relate? Wanna be buddies? Send me a message.

I'm in Seattle, back again, too, losing weight on keto. I have 100 pounds to go. Going to start exercising again soon, but right now I'm stuck at home. Add me if you want!
  • I’m just outside Seattle too and know what you mean about the weather (although I’m native to the area and admit the rain makes me somewhat happy 😉). I started this journey in Dec 2019 with a 74 lb goal. I’m down 62 lbs now! Happy to be a support and share what has worked for me on this journey.
