    Reflection: I am starting to trend up which is concerning. I am aware I have been eating more calories and have tried to compensate with more exercise but it is not yielding the results. I will be more diligent in getting at least 5 freggies every day, 8 glasses of water or more, consistent exercise and leave the potato chips at the store!

    Successes/struggles of the week: A New Puppy! I have not exercised this entire week! I would MUCH rather play with the puppy than go on a run! :smiley: I'm sure I'll get back into a routine... as soon as I'm done playing with the puppy!!!

    How long in maintenance: Since April 2016 - but gained 10 kg March-May 2020 after massive trauma combined with COVID-19.
    Maintenance weight range: 65-75 kg (not sure what’s the right answer - been up and down in there numerous times in my life, apart from going way over 2010-2015).
    I’d like to lose a bit to get back to 70 kg, but I’m still happy at around 75 kg.

    I’m experimenting with seeing how my satiety levels are in relation to the types of foods I eat. Trying to eat more whole foods, which I’ve been getting pretty good at, and less sugar, and it’s going quite well.

    Successes/struggles of the week: My weight was a bit higher again this week due to TOM, but I expect it to go back down again in a bit. I did really well in steps this week, including about 23k steps one day. I did a nice hike this weekend as well.

    Weight lost: 86kg to 80 kg (January-August 2012); 85 kg to 69 kg (October 2014 - March 2016); 88kg to present weight (May 2020 - now)
    maintained (i.e. was below 77.5 kg, and mostly below 75 kg) from February 2015-July 2017; was then put on a medication and gained 2 kg in a month; went on sabbatical (away from scales; lots of conference meals); hit (peri-)menopause and lost track of things except to note that I was steadily gaining and back to 85/86 kg.
    Lost to 81 kg at Easter 2020 (top of normal bmi for me), but then gained back to 88 kg in April/May (Easter egg binge; lock down closed the pool...).

    Reflection: It looks like I am maintaining at about 78kg at present. It's not quite where I want to be but I'm not going to try to do anything about this until I am back in Scotland next month. I am exercising regularly (thanks to BodyFit by Amy!) and my basic diet is good. What I need to do is to cut back on chocolate and wine and that will happen once I am back in Scotland and not being plied with goodies by my husband.

    Success/Struggle: I forgot to do my weekly update here yesterday. Sort of what it looked like all last week. I plan my day every day and then stuff happens. I missed two of my exercise videos last week. That isn't good. I didn't always logged what I ate until the next day. I hope I remembered everything. I don't feel it is a losing focus thing but more just a crazy schedule thing. This week isn't looking much better but I'll keep trying.

    Success of the week: Stuck with the program after a week of steady and significant weight increases and was glad to see the scale come back down in response.

    Struggle of the week: I really did not want to adjust my goals up, but for now that's what I'm doing. I can move them back down later if/when I am ready.
