Hello
Newbie...today I have linked my garmin to myfitnesspal and it has synced over my strava activity for today. However, on mfp under steps there is a box ' don't track steps' ...I am trying to remove the tick from the box however we when I.click on it, it just buffers then nothing happens. My steps are showing on my garmin. I have tried on the mfp app and desktop site but both same result. I have uninstall and reinstalled mfp and disconnecting and reconnecting my gain but still no joy. Anybody any ideas?

It's not an on/off toggle. Instead, you need to "move" the check mark by clicking on Garmin Connect to select it as your tracking device.

More to that - if you aren't seeing Garmin listed as a potential Step Source to check instead of Don't track - then you don't really have your accounts linked.

That option tells MFP to accept and use the sync packets from Garmin that will be sent.
But the accounts have to be linked first.

In Garmin Connect - do you see in Dashboard or Daily Summary Calories In/Out section references to MyFitnessPal and Sync Now?
That just goes out to request the food info be sent, doesn't send data.
Sending daily burn should happen every 100 calories higher on the daily burn. Or when workout is done.

Do you really have a workout entry that says Strava?
Or you know you did a workout in Strava but not on the Garmin?

I'm confused how Strava enters this - because it is possible to link to Strava and Garmin, though that is bad idea.
