Looking for a weight loss partner to share diaries, check in and motivate/support each other.

Hello!
I'm a mom of two living in Dallas Tx. I have a great task ahead of me - losing 60-70lbs. I really need a friend to check in with, and keep interested in diary keeping. Alongside losing weight, I will be trying to get more fit. A long time ago I lose a lot of weight on MFP and I did have a friend - and it made it all the more fun and engaging.     Hi👋 I'm near Austin. Mom of two grown children. I work full time and am trying to get fit. Losing 30lbs would be amazing. I fall short at watching and logging what i eat. Also consistency is an issue with workouts. Nice to meet you and I'll add you😊

    Hi, I’m a mom of a seventeen year old teen girl and 4 cats! I live in Ontario, Canada. I’ve gained 30 pounds over the last six months due to stress over moving. We’re now settled in our new place and I need to lose the weight! I have problems with motivation in general. I would love to have a friend to share the daily struggles with. I think I could really be successful if there were someone to hold me accountable. And I would be happy to return the help!

    Same on motivation and staying consistent once I've started something. I tried to get my group on fitbit to chime in with chatting but no one really responded. So I'm back here because I know this app is full of cheerleaders! I'll add you, 😊

    There are some wonderful people and lots of support. Read some of the team chat threads to see if which of the teams feels like it fits your style best - they are under "Discussions". There are around 25 people on each team, so it is easy to get to know everyone pretty fast.

    Under "Announcements" you can have a look at the current challenges (there are weekly and monthly optional challenges), general information, and the sign-up thread for October. It is a lot of fun, great support, and you follow your own program, way of doing things, but get some great ideas from people if you get stuck or have questions. Give it a try!
