Rice Pasta is wonderful.... Depending on how sensitive she is to gluten, she will have to be EXTREMELY careful with what she buys. Some of the oddest things have gluten in them.... Soy sauce, Pie Filling, Some Medications..... But there are almost always gluten free substitutes.
I tend to make a LOT of stir fry over rice. (Gotta what the marinades to be sure they are gluten free). There are gluten free pizza crusts.
That being said a gluten free diet is a wonderful way to lose weight. Fruits and Veggies and Meats are gluten free. Bread is just empty calories IMHO anyway. :-)0 -
shes really isnt allergic to Gluten, her doctor put her on this diet to regulate her body. She has a thyroid problem that a pervious doctor had given her too much medication for her problem so she trying to get her body back to where it should be.0

She can eat all the meats, all the fruits, all the vegetables, all dairy and lots of grains still.
brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, millet, buckwheat, and potatoes are good gluten free starch foods...
Some easy meals include salads, stirfrys (make sure sauces are gluten free), meat and rice or potatoes....
Lots of ethnic food is naturally gluten free.... vietnamese (no hoisin sauce and no spring rolls), Sushi (no soy sauce or fake crab), Mexican (corn tortillas), Lots of indian food is gluten free too.
There is hidden gluten is lots of sauces so be sure to read labels... but every sauce that has gluten, also has a gluten free version, you just need to find the right brand.0 -
