Recipe builder

I keep a little notepad and pen in the kitchen beside my scale and write down the weights of all of my ingredients (mostly to keep my grubby food-prep fingers off of my phone screen), then Bulk Import and copy over that list. Usually there are a few entries I need to tweak, but at this point I've gotten adept enough with the database that it's easy to find the entry I need; there's no real way around that but practice and building familiarity with both the database and how many calories are in various foods. I'm at the point now where I can tell at a glance if the recipe builder pulled a reasonable or erroneous entry for things like onions, oil/butter, tomatoes, etc., but there's no quicker way to get there than just practice.0
