New Here

Hi Everyone,

Wow. I can’t believe I’m being vulnerable and putting myself out here like this, but here we go.

I’ve struggled with my weight since I was a teenager.

I’m a short guy, 5’2”. My lowest weight I remember was around 136 lbs. I achieved that around 1999 and then again around 2010. My highest weight has been around 206.

I haven’t weighed myself in nearly a year and I’m a little bit scared to get on the scale, but I’m going to do it tomorrow morning. I’m thinking I’m weighing around 190 lbs.

Do I dare include my starting weight picture?! Well, I have it on my phone and I sent it to my brother. He’s going to be my accountability partner.

It’s getting late here in Utah, so I’m going to sign off for now, but I welcome friendship!

I’m 43, single, and have 2 children (a 14 year old girl and a nearly 10 year old boy).

I’m including a picture of myself taken on my daughters birthday. I was having one of those felt cute might delete later moments. 😂6boothqdpwzc.jpeg

Welcome to the community! Just remember, never be to hard on yourself. You got this, my man! I am about a month in, looking to lose over 200lbs. Feel free to send me a friend request, should you wish. Best of luck! 🤙

Welcome! We all have that vulnerability at one point or another, it's nothing to be ashamed about!
The scale can be a scary thing sometimes but don't let don't let it get you down, it's a starting point not the end.
There are some great people in this community that are great motivators!
