Just keep losing weight. You cannot choose where you lose fat from first.

I don't know what you're talking about, but keto doesn't work, neither does high protein or high carb diet. What works is being in a calorie deficit, thus eating less calories than your body needs. Now how you get there is totally individual. Some people feel happier with a high fat diet, others prefer high volumes and lots of veggies, again others eat lots of meat, again others are vegans. You need to figure out what works for you. Good luck. You can do it.

The stuff we beat ourselves up over. I had to look this up.

I second what the other two ladies said. You can’t target fat loss, so do what’s best for your overall health and be “cup half full”. There’s always going to be a place on your body that drives you nuts although you are the only person on the planet who’s even aware of it.

With weight loss, one day, you may realize it disappeared and you didn’t even notice it.

And PS, god bless that FUPA. It’s like a trophy for two great, healthy kids!

Keto and IF claim to reduce loose skin through autophagy, whether this is true or not for the individual is hard to say as the process is poorly understood and seems to be highly unpredictable, but as others have said, neither will have any impact as to whether you lose abdominal fat specifically.

Some people are genetically lucky and lose abdominal fat easily and for others, it seems to be the most stubborn place where fat is held onto the longest. However, if you lose enough fat overall, you will lose your belly fat.

Loose skin on the other hand? That's a whole other issue.

Like others have said, your best bet is to focus on getting your body as healthy and strong as possible so that you can keep up with those kids for as long as possible.
