Fitbit and MFP question

I just got a Fitbit Versa 2, and I've linked to MFP. I like that the two communicate, but I have a problem.
I have a condition that frequently makes my heart rate crazy high, and my Fitbit is registering this as "fat burning" exercise even if I'm not moving at all, and it's adding calories to MFP.
I was sedentary all day yesterday due to being stuck in a very long, very stressful meeting, but my HR was at 120-135 a good chunk of the day, and when I looked, it said I burned an extra 650 calories.
I did not, I was sitting in a chair the entire time.
So I'm not sure what to do. I there any way to get Fitbit not to count exercise calories unless I'm actually moving?
If not, is there a way to keep my Fitbit linked to MFP without adding the "exercise" calories? I could have sworn there was a way for MFP not to add exercise calories, but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway, there may be no solution to my problem, and Googling didn't help, so I figured I would ask here.

I don’t know how to make it stop adding it. But I know you can erase a workout in your diary. Good luck1

Can't you just switch off the heartrate monitoring in the Fitbit's settings?
BTW - it's not just exercise that comes across to MFP from your fitbit, it's also an activity/general movement adjustment between what was expected and what your Fitbit detects.
There's a decision to be made over whether you want your Fitbit to be setting your calories or MFP which would lead you to sync or not sync your device.0 -
I have the Fitbit specifically to monitor my heartrate so that I can keep track of it.
But I liked the idea of tracking my rough calorie burns through activity, but I guess there's no way to get it to accurately track when I'm actually exercising.
I'll probably just unpair the two. I still want to track my HR, but I bought a more expensive smart watch because I thought it would be a more accurate activity tracker.
Oh well.0
