Autoimmune accountability

Hi all.

Do any of you use diet as a way to manage any autoimmune conditions you may have? I've been working on my diet for the past 5-6 months or so and sometimes I get off track. I was diagnosed with RA and diet has been a great way for me to reduce symptoms. That being said, it'd be really great to connect with others who are going through similar things.

I'm not at a point of working out yet since diet is my main priority. Is anyone open in to checking in with each other daily to help hold one another accountable?

    Hi!

I have RA as well. I was working out and healthy before being diagnosed, but the inflammation soon reared its ugly head. It took me a while to find the right medication. Once my inflammation calmed down, I was able to exercise again.

There are certain foods I find really helpful: blueberries, curcumin (with black pepper), ginger tea, avocados, to name a few. Diet definitely helps me as well. Feel free to add me!

Hi guys. I have psoriatic arthritis and Sjogren’s syndrome. Both auto immune diseases as well and I am on infusion IV therapy for maintenance. I’ve gained 30 pounds on a new medication and I have absolutely no motivation to work out or change my diet. It’s tough when you hurt. I hope we can be friends and support one another.
