Why is swimming not part of the plan

Make your own plan. My exercise 'plan' is mostly hiking, trail running, horseback riding, dog sports, paddleboarding and swimming with some resistance stuff occasionally because it's good for me.

If you enjoy swimming, then swim. If you enjoy roller blading or pole dancing or pickleball - the list goes on and one - then do those.
The point is when you get enjoyment out of exercise you will be more consistent. Wunderkind is correct - make your own plan.1 -

That's a great plan!
Dog sports coming right after horseback riding has me imagining some kind of competitive dog back riding that probably involves obstacles, strategy, and possibly squirrels.3
