You can change the privacy settings for your food diary and share it with others (who have an account): https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

Those people can also copy/save your meals into their own diaries, if I remember correctly.

Yes, it's a good idea, it has kept me on target.

If you change your privacy settings and open your diary, your friend can view your meals and copy them over to their account.

If you use the “create meals” function and make it visible to either the public or friends, they can also copy meals. (Don’t use the recipes function. Meals is better anyway because you can copy meals to tweak the ingredients. You can’t do that with recipes.)

I share meals with my husband this way.

If you have a paid account, you can send a spreadsheet of your diary to your trainer or dietician.

Otherwise they’ll need an MFP account themselves to view your meals. They can use a free account, but it might be a little unwieldy for them to maintain an entire app just to look at your meals.

Worse comes to worse, you could send them screen shots of your diary?
