Starting Over and Finding Myself!

I know so many of us have struggled over the past 18 months. Health, work, family, kids schooling, stress, relationships, every aspect of life has been impacted.
Over the 18 months, I was separated and the divorced after 20 years of marriage, I changed jobs after 16+ years, I started a new relationship and I gained 35 pounds.
I am starting many new chapters of my life, including losing these 35 pounds and looking for some friends and accountability along the way.

The last two years have been such a challenge. I almost took the start of the pandemic for granted: working from home, tacos for lunch on a Wednesday and beers and more beers. All that with a 2 and 4 y/o, my diet and exercise routine was completly shattered. About three years ago, MFP helped me lose close to 50 lbs, and I am committed to do it all over again. As angry as I am at myself.

Thanks for sharing you two. Let's go!

I had been doing so well from late 2019, and had planned to go to Italy with my school in March of 2020. I had lost about 30 lbs, and was under 200 lbs for the first time since I was 14.

The pandemic threw a wrench in it all, lol. I gained back double what I had lost, as I felt like none of it mattered. I'm back to trying again, this time doing something new with the help of MFP :)

The goal now is to lose 100 lbs and get down to my ultimate goal weight
