So.....my brother just renovated my bathroom.....and it is beautiful I love it....and I have a soaker tub.....so does the water temperature make a difference with regards to your body??? Does a hot bath make your body work more than a warm bath???
Kinda of a stupid question.....but how do you bathe????? Hot....warm....bubbly, salty?

HOT
with a glass of wine
I do LOVE a bath melt or bomb from Lush0 -
Not a significant differance.
No substitute for actuallly using your muscles.
But ENJOY, very jealous.0 -
based on the advice of my dermatologist, I bathe WARM not hot; with almond oil and baking soda. Makes the skin (and hair!) feel FABULOUS!0

Awww thanks....I am truly lucky for my brother....he really helped me out!!!
The reason I was inquiring...cuz I took a hot one....and whoa...the sweat was dripping of my face....so i thought maybe calories wise my body was working a little harder to cool down!0 -
I like mine pretty hot, but a bubble bar or bomb from Lush is definitely a necessity!!0

Im soooooo close to bathtime! Cant wait!
For me, SUPER hot, glass of wine, bath salts and some quiet jazz music.
It feels amazing on sore muscles0 -
Glad I'm not the only wine bather.0

I love it hot but it's really bad for your skin...it dries out and becomes flaky if hot baths are taken too often. I tend to also take a ton of ice baths after a really tough long run, lol. For pure enjoyment...fairly hot with salts, some Vivaldi playing in the background, and a good book.0

So absolutely jealous. I haven't been able to relax in a bathtub in over 3 yrs  I don't like body parts sticking out, lol. The tub in my old place was SMALL and the one here ain't much better. jealous.0

I used to have to do ice baths and hot soaks for my muscles, hot baths relax your muscles, and cause you to sweat out toxins but they don't burn calories...0

How much almond oil?? I love me a good, hot bath. I have heard warm, too...but I like hot if I am sore and achy. My ortho's assistant told me to add 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of epson salt for really hurting muscles (after my car wreck, I had horrible whip lash). It puts off a bit of a vapor, so it will make you really tired, tho.0 -

Maybe you need someone to keep you company in the tub, I'm sure you could find some volunteeers....You might like it better ;-)0 -
my soaker tub swallows ya! Its huge and lovely! In a perfect world I would turn on the tv (yes there are too many tvs in this house) listen to some music or read a book..bubbles are welcome too
MMM I need a bath!

Lush is where its at.
Or a bit of oil (grapeseed or other healthy oil) and a yummy essential oil or blend. Hot.0 -
Bathing is my favorite thing to do. Ever. I bathe hot with a lush bathbomb or goats milk bath. After a hard workout I use lavender Epsom salts.0
