Hi Just wondering if any of ye Girls/Guys have made a promise/bet with a loved one /Friend to help Motivate you on your trip to get Fit??
My Fab Hubby and I got talking about all the times I have started a Diet or Fitness Plan and failed to carry it out.
I seem to do great for a while then all of a sudden I just Stop " been good" and I am not sure why that happens.
So last night We got talking about this and I feel I need better support from him (he does not have a weight problem
so does not understand fully how hard this is for me) You have to live it to fully understand it I believe.
He has promised me a new Handbag if I have lost 1 stone (14 lbs) by Halloween .
A day at a time and I will do it . I have made a Calendar for this month and now write on it my exercise details because
that is one of my weak points.

Yes I have, but cheer up, you are starting again. As they say we fall down, but we get back up again. Besides its not a diet its a lifestyle change, we take one day at a time. Stay strong my friend.

When I get to my goal weight I get to throw my guy out of a plane....with a parachute of course! Then I get to jump out behind him. I have always wanted to try it, he doesn't. He is very supportive of my efforts...but I still have 75 pounds to go so he has plenty of time to change his mind.

I have set up mini goals to reach my ultimate goal. At each goal there is a reward of something I really want. For instance, my first mini goal of dropping 20 lbs was rewarded with new shoes! As soon as I hit that goal, I ran to the store and found the shoes I really liked!

I joined a weight loss challenge. I am very competetive, especially with money on the line! It held me accountable to more than just myself.

Good luck with your bag! Hope it's a super cute and pricey one!

When I get under 150, hubby is paying for me to have a pin-up style photoshoot. It might be more for him than me :)
He has watched me lose and gain for a while, and I try not to overwhelm him with all the new lifestyle stuff. He constantly tells me that I am perfect the way I am, and instead of discouraging me, it helps to hear it.
Mostly, you all here on MFP are here to hold me accountable if I start wandering away from good decisions. Congrats!
