Reward system

Hiya,
In addition to the obvious rewards (looking better, feeling better, being healthier, blah, blah, blah...), do any of you create a reward system? Kinda like doing something nice for yourself when you've reached certain landmarks?
For example, I started at 226. I'm thinking of doing something for myself at 220, 215, 210, 205, 200 (biggie to get that first digit down to a "1"), 195 and 190 (my ultimate goal). You know...doing something for myself, buying something for myself, etc.
Does anyone else do this? If so, what do you do?
Thanks, and best of luck to everyone!

I do rewards at every 10lbs lost to keep me going... here's my list:
250=20lbs lost New video game!
240=30lbs lost Mani or pedi? I've never had a pedicure... that might be fun!
230=40lbs lost (This is my wedding weight) I'm going to do something special with my hubby as a reward for this because of the signifigance of it being my wedding weight.
220=50lbs lost (I haven't been this small since I was in high school) I'd like to get a massage at this mile mark, I've never had a massage before!
210=60lbs lost Shoes are my weakness. I gotta get some new shoes for this reward!
200=70lbs lost New eyeglasses as well as new sunglasses! I can't wait!
190=80lbs lost Shopping spree!!!
180=90lbs lost A new piece of jewlery
170=100lbs lost (I haven't been this small since before middle school.) Definitely going to get a tattoo to memorialize how far I've come!
I wish you the best of luck too!!0 -
I thinks its a great idea. For my first 5k I got myself a new pair of shoes as a reward0

I don't really do a specific reward system...but I guess having to buy cuter new smaller workout clothes is a reward0

When I got to 160 I rewarded myself with a night out with my boyfriend baby free
150 will get me a dinner date with him
140 New wardrobe
130 A trip to the shoe store
125 New Tattoo, dinner date, and a day to just me!0 -
I get one of those brownie bite containers if I worked out for the week and allow myself a treat once in a while. Gotta enjoy the little things. Especially when one comes in a 130 calorie count of chocolatey goodness.0

I know a lot of people do it, but I hadn't considered it for myself. I'll have to think about it. I don't know if it will add to my motivation or not.0

I think that this is a really good idea. Has anyone thought about maybe doing a special treat like ice-cream or some other low calorie food?0

I've seen lots of people set up their own personal goals: rewards. I think it's a good idea. Gives us something to shoot for. I would need to slow down and give it some thought to come up with my own... maybe in my sleep! :ohwell:0
