I weigh in on Tuesdays; I hope to reach my goal by the end of the year, or at least 126. I will see what I look like then!

My weight loss, which has been ticking steadily down at 2 - 2.5 pounds per week is stalling out on me! I am going to keep my same calorie allotment but try IF. I am going to restrict my eating to a 6-h period from here on in, and work my way up to a longer fast maybe once a week. Fingers crossed it's the kick I need!

I started at 212 on June 1, and today I am 170.4. My goal weight (at least the first goal) is 150 so that puts me at 20.4 pounds from goal. Close enough I guess. I've lost 41.6 pounds. I'd like to reach 150 by Jan 1, but this month my weight loss has slowed for a number of factors, packing to move, trying to get rid of food in the house, unavailability of some of the food I was eating to lose weight (grocery stores out of stock for several weeks) and because of all the heavy work of moving, I've been eating more exercise calories back, because I didn't want to get tired/exhausted and have an accident or get sick due to undereating too much. I was eating 1000-1200 calories before the last few weeks I've been more like 1500-1600. I don't know that I'll do the last twenty pounds by Jan1 - it may not be possible, but OTOH, I'm happy just to keep losing, the deadline is just a goal, not an ultimatum. I will just keep trekking on if I don't make it by that date. Anyway, Once I get to 150 then I'd like to see if I could take off another 20 over the next six months, slowly, but if I don't that's okay too. My short term goal is the 150. Anyway, here I am, in this category. I hope and expect to lose that last twenty, and I wish good luck and motivation to everyone else on the journey.

that is really fast weight loss How many calories are you eating a day, and do you have an exercise plan? I walk 5-7 miles a day and generally have been eating 1000-1200 calories a day and I sure haven't been able to lose so much so fast...Wow

I've been eating 1100-1200 calories a day and exercising (walking/jogging/stacking hay/mucking barns). Drinking 2L per day. No added salt or added sugar. Pretty much grain-free. I was a junk food vegan and now I'm eating healthy vegan food. I live by myself and am very careful about what I eat. To date, I have lost at least 2 pounds every single week since I started at the end of March. I suspect though that this week I will not lose that much, which is why I started IF today. I don't track carbs (because they're from fruit and veg) but aim for 30g fibre, 45g protein, 30g fat, and get 100% of my Fe and Ca (or come close; I hardly ever remember to take my vitamin). No magic. Never eat my exercise calories; well once in a while if I've really burned a lot, like today, I might have an extra 100-200 calories. I don't count steps. I just count "deliberate" walks. In fact, I never go to the gym, though when the ground is covered with snow this year, I may make use of an indoor track (it's free!) near where I work.

Good for you walking 5-7 miles per day. That's a lot of walking! You've lost about 8 pounds a month, which is great and not much less than what I've lost.

Awe, thanks! I started this challenge to keep my momentum going (because it's getting old and I just want to get to maintenance!)

But you are doing awesome yourself, losing steadily and at a hearty rate! It won't be long for you! I enjoyed reading about your holidays and all the hiking you've been up to lately!

I have been banned from challenges and groups so I have come back using this new identity and hope to be able to reach my goal. I have not shamed somebody, swore or posted pornography, but MFP is ignoring my query. I think that they should at least let me know what I have supposedly done. I will be leaving this site as soon as I reach my goal because this is beyond hurtful. HOpefully I will be done by the end of January.
