I am seriously considering ordering the Insanity workout. I've been looking at many of the intense workouts and as hard as this one looks and as painful as it looks like it'll be in the beginning, I really think I could do it. Is anyone doing this workout? Any suggestions, comments or feedback about it?

I absolutely love it! They will kick your butt, but are totally worth it!
  • I am doing this workout and it is by far the toughest workout I've ever done, but I LOVE it!!!
  • I love it as well. The workouts are shorter (38 minutes) and he usually changes the exercise every minute, so it goes very fast. When you are done, you are completely wiped out, but feel awesome!

    Great program!
  • I did this workout. It's amazing...you can see progress in your stamina every day. My one suggestion? You need the power of 4. Find 3 other people that are willing to meet you and do it with you. (You can always talk one other person out of doing it, and if 2 people back out, you won't do it alone - but it's pretty much a guarantee that at least ONE person will do it every day, and when 2 do it, the others feel silly and they end up doing it, too. :) Worked EVERY TIME.) We rotated who made dinner each night of the week, and all ate dinner together after the workout.

If you don't have people doing it with you, you won't do it. It's HARD to get motivated to do it, because you KNOW how hard it's going to be...but the sense of satisfaction when you're done is a HUGE rush. And it works.

Oh, and remember: You're only expected to give 100% of what you've got. :) So if you're running at 50% one day, give it 100% of 50%!!

You're going to love it and hate it at the same time! I'm on my second round and I'm loving every minute of it! Make sure you are motivating yourself, and take it one day at a time. Give it all you got, and you WILL see results. It's the best workout I've ever done. Liked it so much I'm doing it again!!!!

    LOVE IT!!

I have a library of Beachbody workouts and this one is by far my favorite. I love Shaun T and he keeps me motivated. It's going to be hard in the beginning and you will think to yourself, "what did I get myself into"?! If you get it don't give up, just do what you can and you will get stronger evertime you do it! I highly recommend this workout to anyone who is looking to lose weight and strengthen their core.

I LOVE Insanity and still do some of the workouts here and there. I did 4 rounds if it alone every morning before moving on to Asylum. You will not be disappointed with the results if you give it 100%.

It's great, but it may be worth considering easing into it, and maybe doing a different routine initially before starting right out on Insanity. That does of course depend on your current level of physical fitness (or if you're masochistic about these things, like me!)

It requires a good level of base fitness before you start, if you don't have that I'd suggest P90x or something else to get your fitness up. Rest and diet are very important throughout the programme as it is intense.

I've done a P90x/Insanity Doubles Hybrid and Asylum (sequel to Insanity), lost a ton of inches and lbs on both. I'd consider myself pretty fit now even though I still have a way to go on my weight.
