I had a heart attack 9-26-21. I was lucky to survive. I'm 55. I want to live. I'm in rehab and struggling with my diet. My rehab nurse suggested this web site and it's been very helpful. I've lost 10lbs so far and my dietician would like me to lose another 15. I think that's ambitious. My diet is low salt, fat, cholesterol, and sugar. Fiber, carbs, and protein are okay. Salt is a big problem.

Welcome! So glad to hear you are recovering! MFP works. There are sooo many food options available these days. It's fun to explore markets like whole foods and fresh market and try things. Then it becomes an adventure, not a restriction. You go this! Also -- water aerobics is a really fun and relaxing way to ease into exercise when you can down the road. You can do your own pace under water and no one can see what you are or aren't doing during class, lol.0
