I was at 197 and at 200 I loose 4 pounds and gain it all back

On Friday last week, I weighed in at 153.1 pounds and today I weighed in at 157.2 pounds. Weight fluctuates for a number of reasons. I did not gain 4.1 pounds of fat in less than a week. I did gain 4.1 pounds of water, food, and waste products. How do I know it wasn't fat? Because I have stayed in a calorie deficit and weigh myself regularly. 4.1 pounds isn't even the largest swing in weight I've seen. If you are in a consistent calorie deficit, you will see the weight come off. The scale can be frustrating because it doesn't tell us how much fat we have, just how much we weigh.3
