End to End cycle - John O'Groats to Land's End

I was just wondering if anyone has ever done the End to End cycle? I'd love to hear some stories or aspirations...

    I did it a few years ago - it was one of the best things I ever did! OK, we did it over 26 days, went the scenic route (averaging 40 miles a day) and camped the whole way so had a fair bit of luggage. But it was so much fun - if I didn't have 3 small children I'd do it again tomorrow!
