I’ve just started the Carnivore diet and wondered if anyone else is on it and how they are finding it

I have been carnivore for nearing two years now. I have had so many health improvements it's hard to remember what to list. My cravings for carbs and junk went away very quickly. Now my head may think something looks good and tempts me, but I know the mess I'll be if I don't stick with this, so it's not hard to turn away. I reversed pre-diabetes almost immediately, my mental state has improved drastically, my skin, hair and nails are so improved (I had almost given up on my hair and nails when I started this,) I haven't had any signs of a UTI since starting this, my irritable bowel has decreased dramatically, and I hope it will continue to heal, I've stopped taking probiotics, because they simply aren't needed, my constant thoughts of food are gone, my constant guilt about what I eat is gone, I eat as much as I want when I want, which usually ends up being twice a day, and I have lost 90lbs now. There are more things, but as I said, it's hard to think of them all.
I have no issues with bowel movements, except for occasional diarrhea if I eat non-optimal meat (for me.) I am sensitive to more things than most, so have had to get very strict about seasonings and stuff. I have done my research and know that the dire predictions and warnings have no basis in truth. Dr Ken Berry is an amazing resource on Youtube. Kelly Hogan is another amazing resource who has been doing this for 12 years, I believe, and shares her journey freely. There are many others, but those are two of my favorites. I am in the Zeroing in on Health group on Facebook, which has been the perfect place for me to find answers to all my questions.
I could say more, but that's a lot already. If you're going to try it, or already are, I wish you the best! If you have specific questions, I'll answer what I can. I've never actually been on these forums, so don't even know if I'll get a notification, or something if someone replies.9 -
I have been carnivore for a year after being keto and very low carb since 2015. I got off antidepressants, got rid of vertigo, have MUCH more energy and lost that pesky last 15 pounds. I'm a 59 year old woman. Dark circles, gone. Cellulite almost gone LOL. My husband and I always stick to the same way of eating. We both have never felt better. No cravings or low blood sugar and no carb fog. Ever! Love it. Can't recommend it enough.3

I just found this thread and also wonder if you tried it? I've been on it about a month, not super strict but 95% there. I drink coffee and will have a hard time giving that up. I discovered egg yolk coffee w browned butter this am, and it's AMAZING. I feel great actually, don't miss sugar as much as I thought and am slowly losing some of the weight I have had a hard time losing lately. I weight train 3x week w a trainer and she kicks our butts lol. I think I'll keep it going for now, since I haven't had any difficulty and it seems to be working so far0
