    False - got close but my kids [at 10 and 7 at the time] expressed the most concern together I think they ever did for my well-being. Staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki facing the each..17 stories up...Watching surfing lessons. I asked them and my wife if I should do it. Kids shouted, ":NO - you'll get killed!" So, I did not do it. They were probably right.

    TNP has learned how to play a musical instrument without a teacher.

    True but probably lost more than I won![What I think is an interesting, amazing, embarrassing side note; A few years ago I was teaching my, then 8 year-old, granddaughter the basics of Chess. Totally forgot the mind I was working with...third 'game' ended with her winning in Fools Mate! I asked her how she did it and she piped up," Well, I thought you would move this guy here so I would do that, then you probably would do this so I would do that and then you would HAVE to do this and I'd do what I did and beat you." Stunned by her ability to look 3 moves out on a game she had just started to learn. Her name is GRACE, need I say, Amazing Grace?
