Depends on you style. But anything upbeat. I am in love with salsa and merengue. So I listen to that mostly
  • i like rap because its very fast to keep up with, any song will do with a fast beat:chris brown, waka flocka, lil wayne etc.

I learned that the bass is the thing that will keep you going. there are a lot of genres that have really good bass. One band in particular I would suggest would be Yes.
Music genres, Pop, for obvious reasons is a good one, Metal, Jazz, Classic rock, or Latin music.

    Bump. Can use some ideas.
  • Anything by Yppah! I swear, it makes working out so much fun. The music changes a lot, so I'm always trying to exercise to the beat of it.

I really like listening to Fugazi (Almost all of their music), Warpaint (The Fool), Dan Deacon (Bromst... even though it has very slow moments), and Caribou (Everything... literally).

Have fun making a work out mix!
  • Check out Machine Gun Kelly Here is a link to a free copy of his mixtape Lace Up check out song number 7 Fantasy
Oh and he just got signed to Bad Boy Records

Don't listen to music when I'm cycling as it's plain daft to cycle with headphones in.

But when I used to do X-trainer at they gym I always liked New Order Substance 1987. It's got some great tracks and thay all have an excellent beat to get you into the right rhythm for a good workout.
