A guy that I work with is always trying to feed me junk food! He knows that i'm trying to eat healthier bt he doesn't care! Everyday he goes out for lunch to a fast food place and he brings me something back like a taco from taco bell, chicken nuggets ect. I've been telling him, no thank you politely but he doesn't care! he always has junk in his desk (cookies, chips, popcorn) and every time i walk by his desk he offers me something! he is driving me crazy!!!!! help:explode:

Start offering him rice cakes every time he walks by.0

Start offering him pokes in the eye every time he offers you something. Then again, that may be a CLM.
People like that are infuriating.0 -

yes my co worker and i have the same problem, we are both trying to lose weight he drops a 2lb bag of peanut m&ms on our desks............omg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and just wildly giggles and runs out.......he is a twig.0

Thats not right!!!
Does he put it on your desk then?
If so start puting it on his desk at the end of the day.
or if you have a fridge just put it in there with his name on it.
itll spoil and everyone in the office will get pissed LOL
But good job on not accepting his offers.

woops i meant to say our BOSS is a man and he is a twig! lol0

I think that I would tell him that I am serious about it and PLEASE stop. If it happens again I would take the item that he gives and place it in the trash ... a couple times of showing him that you are serious and will not be affected will probably stop him from wasting his time and his money.

Maybe it's his way of flirting???0

These are some of the greatest suggestions evah!!
I think Memaw is right. It HAS to be a crush.
Put it in the fridge with his name on it. Or put it out in the open with a "FREE" sign on it. He should get the point soon enough. (Or poke him in the eye... that HartKid is funny  )0 -

It is a self esteem issue for him. Thank him politely and OFFER a rice cake (loved the Idea). :laugh:0

Dump it in the trash or give it to someone else.
Moron needs to learn what "no thank you" means. :grumble:0 -

That was my thought! Sounds like flirting! :noway:0 -

Is he in management...if not...dont tell him politely....tell him NO and tell him its rude and thoughtless to keep offering it to you.
Or take it, say thanks and then in his sight...turn around and dump it in your trash can...so he can see you do it.
when he asks HEY why'd you do that...tell him its because your NO thank you wasnt working so you decided not to be subtle anymore :devil:0 -

Ditto! He's either a jerk who gets off on making others suffer, OR he's flirting with you in a bizarre fashion...either way, I like the dumping it in the trash right in front of him route :laugh:0 -
Molly K - THAT IS PERFECT!!! Seriously..offer him rice cakes...0

I don't know why some people try to sabotage other people's weightloss plans! It's so frustrating. My BF was going to the store right now and he was like do you want wine? Do you want this? Do you want that? NOOOOOO damnit, I'm outta calories.....I can' t even have my skinny cow for desert.0

People don't always understand how difficult it is to eat healthier. He's at an age that he probably thinks he's being generous & thoughtful.
You have to firmly look him in the eye & tell him you have to be very careful about what you eat. "Thanks, but no thanks. Please go share it with someone else who'll appreciate it. I can't possibly eat this today - please give it to someone who can use it."0 -
I so agree with accepting the item and then dumping it in the trash can.0

Ugh, I know its awful. I used to go to this fast food place buy my school because it was the only place that offered a garden salad with light dressing. So I'd order that and a diet coke. The owner would always tell me that I was beautiful the way I was and shouldn't be ordering diet food and he'd try to get me to order his uglier foods. He would even offer them to me for free. I eventually stopped going and I guess everyone else did as well because he promptly went out of business. Jerk.0
