Vitamin B6/B12 shots for weight loss

I just started getting the shots today; has anyone else tried this? If so, did you get results? Supposedly it helps suppress hunger and raise metabolism... I got a Groupon and got 6 of them for something like $15. Just wonder if I should pursue it further after my Groupon is up. Thoughts?

I wouldn't pursue it further.0 -
I heard the same thing about vitamin b12 and I have just started taking a vitamin b12 supplement to see if that helps me. Mostly because I am having trouble staying awake in the afternoon at work, when I am near my computer. So I thought I would give it a shot. Since it's only been a few days, I don't know if it works yet. Keep me posted on yours and I'll keep you posted on mine. Good luck! Here's to hoping it works!0

Usually those things work if you started off deficient in the vitamin. Most people are not. Sorry.0

You should get vitamin deficiency bloodwork done before taking additional supplements. There is such a variety of deficiencies that can cause so many symptoms.0

I tried it one time for energy and it did absolutely nothing for me.0

About 8 or so years ago I went to a "diet doctor" who gave me B6/B12 shots, put me on a REALLY strict diet (900 cals, very low carb) and gave me "diet pills". I did lose weight but it didn't stick. I stopped taking the diet pills early on because they made me spazzy and I didn't like the feeling. I'm not sure if the B6/B12 shots worked but I don't think they hurt. If you try it and it works, why not?0
