I want one NOW! Don't recognise some of the ingredients in there (not available) in the UK but the idea of tequila, lime juice and diet lemonade is fab. Beats vodka and diet coke on a night out!
You can use sugar free lemon squash in place of chrystal light!
I have a fabulous recipe for pina coladas. Not as good, calorie wise, as the margaritas, but when you need a pina colada, you need a pina colada!
Place in a blender: 1 ounce of rum
1.5 ounces of Torani sugar-free coconut syrup
1/4 cup Breyers double churned, fat free, ice cream (or other fat free vanilla ice cream)
1 teaspoon crushed pineapple in juice
3/4 C crushed ice
1 packet splenda
117 calories. Serves 1.0 -

At our house, even the margaritas have been put on a diet!
Our “Skinny Margaritas” have only 74 calories per 12oz drink!
We like margaritas— but we don’t like the fact that they can have as many as 500 calories each.
I came across this recipe for a “Skinny Margarita” and I knew it must have been good when my S.O. started asking me EXACTLY how I made them.
So here goes:
Into a 12oz glass add 1oz of tequila (or to taste), one packet of Crystal Light Lemonade powder, 2 tablespoons of ReaLime (or similar), some ice cubes and 8oz of Diet 7UP (or Diet Sprite).
Mix thoroughly, garnish with a slice of lime-- and drink!
You can optionally add a splash of Triple Sec and/or Grand Marnier.
Most tequilas have around 69 calories/oz, the Crystal Light has 5 calories— and everything else has 0 calories.
So our 12oz margaritas have only 74 calories in them.
Does it taste *exactly* like a 500 calorie margarita?
No. But it DOES taste like about a 450 calorie margarita!
THAT, my friends, is good living.

I wonder if I added this to a blender with ice so that it was a frozen margarita would the taste be watered down?0

Fantastic! I buy Skinny Girl Marguarita...It's a little tart for me, so I throw in a packet of Equal and put in a cocktail shaker with lots of ice....Easy and not bad. Gotta have something on a Friday night~0

Crystal lite has aspertane in it and it is very bad stuff causes all kinds of health problems. Look up Sweet Poison and it tells all the info about health problems it causes. People think they are doing so good when they eat or drink sugar free foods and drinks but they have aspertane in them and they are harming themselves more than helping. Propel does not have aspertane you might be able to get that flavor in propel.0
