I Will Succeed.

Ever since I can remember I have had depression, I have never had any self worth or happiness within myself.
I started this journey in April 2011 and ever since I started I did not look back.
I did not want to be on meds for depression and anxiety anymore, and had heard that exercise releases endorphins which can make you happy so decided to try it. I started it and then once I started I became addicted. I have since decided that I would love to become a PT and am looking into starting a course soon.
I was looking up healthy eating facts and such on google when I came across this site, MyFitnessPal? What is that? I thought...
Well, I decided to try it and love this place. It is helping me so much with my eating habits which is the one thing which I really need help with.
I now eat for nourishment and vitamins, not for emotional reasons.
I can honestly say I am happy for the first time in my life and am not feeling sick all the time anymore, I am not constipated all the time anymore and I have a tonne more energy.
I truly love exercise and healthy eating and would love to help others gain this out of life. I have only lost about half of what I need to lose but I know that I will succeed. Look at how much I have achieved so far.
I wanna be healthy and happy, and some days I still do not believe that the person in the mirror is me.
I am stronger and happier than I ever imagined.
I WILL SUCCEED.

What you have said just what I told my daughter a week ago, she also suffers from bad anxiety and is receiving medical help but I read about the benefit of self help as far as exercise goes. It's difficult for her to fit in with working and being a Mum of 2 but I think once she starts she'll feel the benefit. I am going to pass on your comments to her. Very well done on what you have achieved you should feel really proud of yourself x0

Just the post I needed today. I too suffer like you and am currently coming out of a bad time. I had started doing like you on no meds and exercise before work stress got to much and I unfortuntely did not have the strenth at that time to overcome it.
Reading your post has re-affirmed that I was starting on the right path and that once I have my won the first fight against this horrible place I am in I can use the exercise etc to win the battle.
Thank you for this post you have given me hope at a dark time xXx0 -
