lots of dreams and desires, strong motivation, zero willpower

Hey Guys, I wanted to know... have you ever felt like this?

I have a lot of motivation, I know my WHY etc, and yet my willpower is zero ad I'd rather stay on the couch (I do not have time togas I commute 2.5 hours daily PLUS work 8 hours plus when I get home I have a 9 months old baby)... I would eat anything. I love exercise but I do not find the time, I am too tired in the evening and I wake up at 6 every morning.
I know that some people wakes up at 5 to train before work, but I feel I have no energy.

Would you share your stories, so I can find some Inso?

Loads of love

You sound exhausted, what you need to do is focus on whatever self care will help you be as healthy as possible while you get through this exhausting time. Don't think of diet and exercise as extra things to add to your already full plate.

How can you make healthy eating your easiest option? How can gentle exercise become a relaxing part of your routine that helps you cope with your work load?

Don't try to force hard stuff into an already hard life, it won't work. You have to find ways to make taking care of yourself easier.

I don't think it takes a lot of time to eat less food. It does help to plan ahead to make sure you're not grabbing food that is high in calorie in a food emergency. For me that just takes a few minutes to pack a bag of snacks and lunch. You don't need to workout to lose weight. What motivates me is health. I decided I wanted to be smaller and eat better, so I do that. It's not a huge time problem.

Oh my goodness. This says it all. You are already doing 2+ full time jobs. Focus on taking care of yourself so that you get good sleep. THAT alone will energize you to do what you absolutely have to do during your day. If you can get good rest, you might feel like bundling up baby and going for a short walk together after work or after dinner (if it's light/warm enough). I couldn't imagine trying to fit in the workouts I do now when my children were young. It wasn't until they were in kindergarten that I was able to drop them off and go for a long walk, but only because I wasn't working at the time. As your baby grows, you'll be able to move more by doing things together.

Enjoy the time with your little one. Eat well for your body. Try to get enough rest. Workouts (the way we often think of them) can wait

I find food prepping on the weekend to be a source of focus and self care. A veggie lasagna casserole or crock pot full of heart-healthy stew that I can heat-n-eat after a long day; a bit of panty and fridge stocking so I know I have good lunch and snack choices; and a weekly batch of overnight oats ready for grab-and-go breakfasts can make my work week my much more sane-- and I really enjoy it.

As for the exercise-- everything counts! I use the bathroom farthest away from my office and sip on water constantly so I make that trip every couple of hours. Parking a bit farther away from the grocery door, pacing whie I'm on the phone, bouncing the offspring on a knee, standing on one leg while brushing my teeth for balance, butt and ab crunches at a red light. . . It all counts!

THANK YOU. I am so very grateful for your support. I indeed feel like If I do not workout, I am lazy and not a good mom, or not inspired etc.... I should take care of myself, much more. only thing I do I shower, take care of my hair and facial skin, even my legs are very dry as I do not put cream on. I should take 10 minutes every night to embrace myself more.

In regards to food at work (My lunch): we changed caterer at work (I was the one in charge of changing it) and it's MUCH MORE Healthy! Thank god I never drink alcohol (not even on weekends) and drink plenty of water during the day.

I also found that behind my office there's a huge park with a canal, so I eat and then go for 30 min walk if the weather is nice. At this stage, I can't do more.. maybe something on the weekend, but today I had a 2 hours nap :) I was sooo tired.|

Anyway, will read these lovely comments again and again. You are wonderful. THANK YOU
