For those training with weights:

What is your favorite lift and why?

Also which one is the one you hate but still do?

For me they are the same. I currently have a love/hate relationship with the Deadlift.
From an economic standpoint it is an awesome lift. It works so many muscles simultaneously. After working up to a good heavy set, I am jazzed for the rest of the workout.

Deadlift! Works everything and when you start pullin >500 lbs people stop to admire. And I'm a vain person andlove the attention haha.

Least favorite - bench... only cuz I can't do it...partial rotator cufftear at the moment :(

Tie between Deadlifts and Hanging Cleans, although the Hanging Cleans get my heart pounding more.

I like them for the total body effect, and because you never see anyone doing them, but when you do, they get attention.

I love/hate cleans! I had to do them all the time in college and I loved it cause I could see all my muscle and it worked everything, I just didn't like doing them! I need to start again cause I kind of miss them!

I haven't tried the cleans. I may start trying to work some "clean and press" sets in once a week.

Favorite: Standing Overhead Press. For me there's nothing like the feeling of pushing heavy *kitten* weight over your head.

Now, if I could only do one exercise for the rest of my life it would be the Deadlift.
