Hello! I am Jo, I am a mom to 5 fabulous boys and one awesome step-son. My husband and I have been together for seven and a half years and I have definitely become "comfortable" in my life. When my husband and I got together I already had 2 boys and was a size 7! Now 3 boys later I can barely squeeze into a 15 on a "skinny" day. I had never gone over 200 lbs, not even pregnant. I weighed myself the day before my our 4 year wedding anniversary 8/28/11 and I was over 205 lbs! I couldn't believe it and decided it was time that I make a change. That might not seem like a lot to some people but I am only 5'3". I am addicted to Dr. Pepper. I had been drinking multiple pops per day and eating all kinds of chocolate constantly. On 8/29/11, my anniversary I decided to stop with the pop and the chocolate. I will treat myself once in a while but very rare and I limit myself. Rather than the whole King Size Twix, I only ate one! I am hoping to get back down to a single digit pant size. My brother is getting married August 2012 and I am in the bridal party so I would that is my goal date. If I could get to 145-150 I would be extremely happy but I want to do it the right way. No fad diets, I tried Advocare and I loved the Spark but something in the pill packets gave me migraines so now I am doing it all on my own with healthy eating (which I suck at!) and exercise. No more excuses! No more lying to myself! I want to be held accountable and I want the scale to go down! With the help of new found friends, my bestie (who is also going through this process), my hubby and my sister, I know I can make it happen and I am going to!
