I've been having problems with getting enough water. Some days are better than others, but most days I only drink 2 or 3 cups max. Does anyone have any tips of how to get more water?

    I bought myself a fancy new water bottle, I think it holds 900ml? I keep it with me and re-fill it throughout the day. I try for 3-4 or them :)

    I recommend either getting a 32oz water bottle that you can take everywhere with you . . . you can refill it and just keep it in your work area

    at home next to the chair you are in. . I have water bottles in my bedroom. . I put them in the front of the shelf in my fridge. . When I have coffee in the morning . . . I get a bottle of water out with the cup of coffee. .

    Just some ideas. . .

    This might seem really extreme, but I ONLY drink water. When I gave myself other choices, I abused it and never got the water in. I told myself, "you can drink whatever you want when you finish that 8th cup." It used to take me all day, so it started being just water. After 2 months of this, I find that I actually prefer water. I'll occasionally do Tropicana 50 OJ with breakfast or in a smoothie, but I still get my eight cups.

    I literally think "chug-a-lug" in the mornings and drink 2 glasses as soon as I wake up. After breakfast, after I'm ready for work, I drink one more glass before I leave for the day. I bought one of the plastic cups with a straw in it that holds 20 oz, which I drink during the day. I drink another 20 oz. cup full when I'm home. Before I know it, 8 cups. When I work out, I usually get in 10-12 cups for the day.

    Hope my strange but effective plan at least provides you with some ideas. Good luck!

    I'm a SAHM and everytime I go in the kitchen (which is very often), I drink water. If you work at a desk, drink a lot of water in the morning. Pretty soon, you'll need to go to the bathroom. After each bathroom break, drink some more.

    You can also liven up your water by adding a lemon slice or cucumber and mint.
