I would love some support this time around!

This is my 2nd time going on a weight loss journey, and I would appreciate some friends for motivation and support. I lost 50 lbs back in 2018, but I did it all on my own, so it got a bit boring. I overworked myself, had to rest because my shin was going numb due to all of the cardio, and that little rest pushed me back into eating again. My goal for this go at it is to make friends and share some motivation. If there are any diabetics out there (I'm type 1) and anyone who's at it again. I'm looking to lose 70 lbs this time around, so I'll need all the support I can get. It's not easy when you're married and have 2 kids!

Read the boards. Find some people who have goals similar to you, or whose advice you respect. Ask to friend them.

You’ll have a much better experience than going hog wild and finding random friends. (Although those can sometimes be very rewarding as well!)

Don’t bother typing in a message to someone you wish to friend. That option has been temporarily disabled due to spam and porn bots sending unwelcome messages. Potential friends will never see your warm message.

You got this! I’m recently back on MFP because I’m also trying to get healthy again after a big weight loss a few years ago and then gaining it all back during Covid. It’s frustrating! Congrats on your recommitment to your health journey!
