Goal for 2022: 145 -150 (healthy BMI/Weight)
I have been feeling a little demoralized and unmotivated the past couple of days. This morning I tried a pair of jeans, that 2 months ago didn't go up my thighs, and...they fit like a glove. Feeling a little better now. Sometimes the number on the scale is not enough, need something extra to keep up the spirits.
Here is to a healthier March : )6 -
Hi all,
Have been re-reading your posts to get ideas, motivation, and support. Thank you all! I looked back on when I started keeping track, and it was 2012. I was 290 lbs and wow. I was in planning stage of getting married. Since then, I'm down to 260, but it's been that way for past few years. In meantime, my husband passed away last year and I have struggled. Some days ok, and some not. I'm lucky and blessed to have a brother close by, and a best friend plus great neighbors. But having to take care of all the bills, household stuff- it drains me. I don't want to keep making excuses so I plan to go to the senior center for some classes. It's so hard to lose weight when you're older- so those of you who are younger, stay with it. I will be 71 in April and have decided to set some specific goals for March, April, and rest of year. For those who've sent me friend requests, I'm sorry if I didn't reply. Anyway, you are all so inspiring and honest- so thank you. And keep me in your prayers.7 -
Good morning everyone!
The OGs remember 2020 when I was last here, and fell off, what with *gestures around*
I'm back, in my spiritual home, after hitting 200.4 just this morning. I've been watching it creep upward from the high 180s since Christmas, time to do something about it.
I'm Christina, came in just in time for the end of the February thread, looking forward to a much more mindful March and to get acquainted with all you lovely people.

Re-start weight: 200.4.
I'll save goals for March. For this, the last day of February- time to find my lifting notebook, research some coping mechanisms, put some reminders in my phone, and get back on that wagon.
Thank you all for sharing here.6 -

Feb 8: 265.8 - down 3.2 pounds - I am so proud of myself. I am eating right and working out. Last night made day 8 of a 21 day workout program. I almost talked myself out of working out, but I got up and got it in. I feel so much stronger this week than last week. So exciting!
Feb 15: 265.0 - down 4 pounds - This week has been such a roller coaster on the scale. I saw the scale go all the way down to 264.4 and then slowly creep up to 265.8 and now back down to 265. Craziness! I'm really excited to be making progress though. I am down 15 pounds from my highest weight and I couldn't be more proud of that accomplishment. Yesterday was day 18 of 21 in my current workout program. I am looking for forward to the 3 day break this weekend because my body is so tired.
Feb 22: 263.0 - down 6 pounds - I finished my 21 day program with amazing results. Down 17 pounds and 8 inches from my highest. I enjoyed 3 glorious rest days and then started a new 6 day program on Monday. I have seen a lot of up and down on the scale but I am so happy with the downward trend. With only 6 days left I don't think I'll hit my 10 pound goal but I'm feeling pretty good about these results. I'm proud of myself for sticking with the clean eating and working out. I will be putting in max effort over the next 6 days to get a nice result on the scale for 2/28.
Feb 28: 264.2 - down - 4.8 pounds - So much up and down this month. I'm convinced that my 4 rest days plus TOM is what kept me from achieving my 10 pound goal. Still proud of my results overall. I worked really hard this month. I ate well and worked out for 24/28 days this month. My workout programs were also more weight focused as opposed to cardio focused so that could also have contributed to the slow loss. Regardless, the strength and confidence I have gained in the last month is incredible. So darn proud of myself.7 -

Did not reach my weight loss goal this month. Wasn't feeling well this past week, so I didn't exercise and ate at maintenance. Weight "gain" is easily explained by waste in system/higher sodium intake, so I'm not really counting it as a gain.
That said, I'm ending the month with some very positive accomplishments. 1) I'm still in one-derland! 2) I ran my fastest 1.5 mile time- 15 minutes 10 seconds. 3) I kept up with my friend group on a difficult 5 mile hike which included jumping across boulders and scaling small cliffsides. 4) I can synch my belt down to the next hole, even if it is a smidge too tight. Sticking to the more comfortable one until it no longer functions as a belt at that notch.
I'm incredibly proud of myself this month. The plan is to get under 195 next month.4 -
