Hi,
I'm comparing weight watchers and MFP. Can anyone tell me how many calories the weight watchers points are?

All I know is that it isn't a strict 1-1 conversion. For example, WW lists most veggies as 0 points, but they do still have calories (not many, it's true, but that can add up). And, IIF, WW also works fat % into points, while MFP lists straight calories, and then has fat content listed under other nutritional info. (As for me, I prefer tracking straight calories to points.)0

It All depends on fat, fiber, and calories if you are using the old plan. That's what I am using. There is a website... CalculatorCat.com. There are the calculates for both the old and new plan. You can just plug in the info! Hope this helps!0

Yeah, it's going to depend on the food too. There is no straight answer.0

Plus they adjust for how much fiber a food has as well. The more fiber, the more you can eat, so as was said, not a 1 to 1 relationship.0

I think that keeping to set calories is much easier, and is much more likely to get you better results without you having to work really hard to stick to a specific system.
Whereas WW promotes you to eat healthier having vegetables at 0 points so that you could constantly eat them and never have to worry about getting fat. And it takes fat into consideration which is a good thing.
But then once again when shopping and preparing meals etc, you have to search through and make sure everything you eat i slow in fat aswell as calories.0 -
no straight answer to this one, but counting points is easier in that you don't have to count up to 1,000 plus everyday!0
