Why is my body so unproportioned? I don't get it! I'm 161lbs, body fat is 26% (bleck) in a VERY loose 8 (probably a 6, just too lazy to lug 2 kids out to try on jeans). Most people in size 6 are mid 140s. Where is my weight?! I'm in a small-medium shirt. Am I just as solid as a brick? Why can't I just weigh less? "Don't focus on the number, go by how you feel" Well, I feel like I want my numbers less!!

well it also depends on your height and 26% body fat on a female is actually decent. From your picture you have a large chest so that would be a place for your extra fat/weight to be stored. I am a size loose size 8 and I am 151 5'5.0

Seriously, don't go by the number on the scale. Measurements and size and body fat percentage are far more important. I'm always heavier than I look -- I don't know if I have heavy bones or what, but people always underestimate my weight. And I'm ok with that. I don't care about the scale nearly as much as I care about what I see in the mirror.0

Most likely boobs and muscle! lol How tall are you? Is it in your belly area maybe? Doesn't really look like it from your pic, but one pic doesn't always tell a story. I know what you are saying though, even though we should base our feelings on how we feel and the fact that we are wearing smaller sizes, but it is so NICE to see the numbers going down. I'm 161 also. And I just started wearing size 11. That was an amazing feeling after being *almost* into a size 17. But I am still a little frustrated at the scale being stuck.0

when I was a size 8 before I was 150lbs. Course I was in HS and very toned from all the sports I played. Weight doesn't mean so much. I'm now back into a 16 and very close to a 14 but I'm still at 218...last time I was that size I was 170lbs.....muscle mass takes up less room that fat so you can weigh more than you look quite easily.0

I'm 5'2 =/ Can we just trade scale numbers? =P0

I'm 5'2, hips are 37" and waist is 33in (depending on if I have salt the day before). It's gotta be muscle, then. I guess I'll never beat the scale lol0

your lucky, I am about the same - a loose size 8 pant, but my shoulders are so broad, I am a large shirt. 5"5 and 135 I can't stand tight clothing0
