New to My Fitness Pal!

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am excited to be on a new health and wellness journey and I'm hoping this app and community will help keep me on track. I have been advised to begin using the Mediterranean way of eating, but still counting calories, carbs, and fats in order to lose weight. I need to lose about 45 pounds. If anyone is also eating according to the Mediterranean life style and has lost weight, I would love to hear how it is going! Thanks for reading!

    I'm eating Mediterranean as well. I feel really good eating this selection of foods, but I'm on MFP to make sure I don't go overboard and I'm still able to lose weight. Welcome!
